Dry Creek Vineyard

Kim Stare WallaceDear {FIRST_NAME},

Here at Dry Creek Vineyard, our 45th harvest is almost finished and it is showing all the signs of a great vintage. I can’t believe that in just five short years, we’ll be celebrating our 50th! With each passing year, we find ourselves one of the few remaining family-owned wineries driven to create appellation focused, varietal defining wines that rival the best in California. Competition is at an all time high in our industry, so being true to our wines, our vineyards and the terroir of our region is more important than ever before.

With all of the competition around us, we take pride in each and every 90+ point score that we receive. Here are some of the recent highlights that you may have seen coming through your inbox:

2013 Cabernet Sauvignon – 91 Points – Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate
2015 Fumé Blanc – 90 Points, Top 100 Best Buys – Wine Enthusiast
2015 Sauvignon Blanc – 91 Points – Wine Enthusiast
2014 DCV Estate Block 10 Chardonnay – 90 Points – Wine Enthusiast
2014 Heritage Vines Zinfandel – 90 Points, Smart Buy – Wine Spectator
2013 Old Vine Zinfandel – 93 Points – Wine Enthusiast
2013 Endeavour Cabernet Sauvignon – 91 Points – Wine Spectator

The 2016 harvest has been a pleasant surprise after the short crop of 2015 and the drought conditions during the previous years. We are about 90% complete, and the quality so far has been incredible. The aromas of Sauvignon Blanc are coming on strong, Zinfandel is showing some beautiful, pure berry flavors and the Cabernet Sauvignon of this vintage is sure to be a standout!

We just wrapped up our summer Wine for Sailors campaign and the preliminary results are starting to roll in. We love seeing photos of the case displays of your accounts, so please keep sending them! As always, we welcome any feedback you have regarding this and any other point-of-sale campaigns.
